Startergy for playing roulette and blackjack in ladbrooks , william hill etc

People do win on these machines , slowly but surely seems to be the way.
How do you go about placing your chips on the roulette table and, when do you stand, or when do you hit on Blackjack.
Would be interested to know peoples techniques, or does the house invariably always win ?

Even on roulette the odds are always slightly in the houses favour. The longer you play the more likely you are to lose.

Real life Roulette youd find in a bricks and mortar casino have the odds stacked in favour of the house (2.7% on European Roulette, 5.26% on American) so why on gods green earth would you think there would be a strategy to beat a machine thats programmed to take your dosh from the outset???


They say theyre not rigged, but they are. Without doubt.

You can have times when youll win, and win big(£1,000s) but the time will come when youre run will end and youll lose the lot, and more.

Walk into ANY Ladbrokes or Billy Hills and look at the sort of people playing them. That should tell you all you need to know.

You will never win long term. The odds are always against you. Otherwise casinos and gambling machines wouldn't exist.

You can use strategy to put yourself in a position to keep losses to a minimum, and maybe you'll come out up after some sessions, but long term you'll always lose money.

I work in a bookies and in all honesty people do win on those machines, however winning and walking away richer are two different things. The amount of times you see people put in 10-20 quid and get it up to over 100-150 is far common than most want to believe. However for most, greed then sets in and they end up walking away with nothing. They then proceed ( in broken English) to tell you how much the machine is rigged and how they are going to kill you, your family and burn the shop down.
The best response is, well why didn't you collect when you had doubled more Money????
The machine does payout however it's not going to on every spin and you will lose at some point. Just like in any form of Gambling.

the chance of winning obviously!

I sometimes have a couple of quid myself, but I don't have a gambling problem and walkk away easily

have never put more than a fiver in one at a time and have won up top 60 quid

It's the people that have a problem that these things destroy

Fruit machines can be as bad, other weekend down one ofmy local a bloke put 400 quid in one on Saturday afternoon

the jackpot is only 250

I used to work with someone who thought he had a 'system'. He would often blow hundreds in a lunchtime, and often come back after winning a fair wedge as well.

He's now sleeping in the back of his car.

The bloke is a fucking moron.

You don't 'win'!

If you play blackjack in a casino you have the best odds of any card game. Approx 2% advantage to the house IF you play basic strategy .... Look it up, there's a table of when to hit. Casinos, well at least in Vegas, will even let you take the damn card in with you and dealers will tell you what basic strategy suggests on each hand!

But ... A machine? Fuck knows!

I have 5 main numbers:

10, 15, 17, 27 & 30

Lump on those and then place smaller bets on:

0, 5, 8, 11, 25 & 32

If I hit 3 of my main numbers in a row, I;m quids in. But seeing as I only have a 11/37 chance of hitting a number, I normally lose.

These games are set up so that over the piece, on average, a gambler will lose money. That being the case decide how much you are prepared to lose and donate that precise sum to a charity that you favour.

There are several good things that come out of this action. For example a charity benefits, you are not depriving dependents of yours and also you have won some time to do something useful.

It's all good.

MATE at work used (10 years or so ago) to spend his weekends playing the fruity's on the motorway service station... had found a way on winning on them... had a profitable 6 months or so in which he paid for a Florida Hol for him and his kids... a Vegas trip with his girlfriend... and a brand new car... then the companies caught on... I'll be honest I could not be arsed doing that every weekend but good luck to him
